“Start with a Story” teacher guides connect the award-winning books of Peter H. Reynolds to hands-on SEL, literacy, and STEAM experiences. Each set includes 5+ lessons designed for grades K–5 that invite students to read, reflect, create, and collaborate.
Throughout the series, you'll find activities ranging from journaling and team-building to engineering and animation, students practice self-awareness, flexible thinking, and creative problem solving. The program is flexible for any learning environment.
Note: Some lessons include optional extensions using creative software designed by Peter’s nonprofit — Animation-ish and FabMaker Studio.
