My story - many chapters!
I was born in Toronto with my twin brother Paul, and grew up in Massachusetts, in a family full of storytellers and adventurers. My childhood was spent camping as an Eagle scout, creating mini movies with Paul, and filling sketchbooks with doodles and imaginary worlds. Becoming authors grew out of that love of creating - and led to our life-long journey to invite others to create bravely alongside us.
With Paul, I started FableVision Studios, an educational media development studio in downtown Boston where we create and share “stories that matter, stories that move” with amazing partners such as PBS Kids, Library of Congress, Scholastic/Weston Woods, National Geographic and Nickelodeon.
In my hometown of Dedham, I love spending time with my daughter (Sarah) and son (Henry Rocket,) and my grandchildren.
It’s also where you’ll find my nonprofit Reynolds Center for Teaching, Learning & Creativity which helps students, educators, and communities make an impact with creativity & compassion - hosting global celebrations like International Dot Day, Word Collector Week. and creativity retreats for grown-up kids like the Creative Compass Retreat.
Then there’s The Blue Bunny in Dedham Square—a cozy bookshop I’m proud to own and occasionally work at as a barista! I also started Dedham Square Circle to keep our town connected and vibrant.

These days I spend a lot of time at our non-profit’s TLC Studios supporting teachers, librarians and students. My life is full of writing, drawing, civic events, school visits, keynotes, workshops, and many cups of Tetley British Blend tea!
My goal? To inspire others to make THEIR mark!
