Peter H. Reynolds (The Dot, Ish, Someday, Judy Moody, The North
Star)
Launches Licensing Group “The Peter H. Reynolds Line”
BOSTON, MA - New York Times #1 best-selling Author/Illustrator
Peter H. Reynolds, beloved around the world for his inspirational
“storybooks for children and busy grown ups,” has launched
his new licensing division called The Peter H. Reynolds Line. The
Peter H. Reynolds Line is led by Peter’s identical twin brother
Paul Reynolds, who also helped launched the duo’s multi-million
dollar educational media company FableVision based in Boston, with
offices on the west coast and UK.
“People are literally moved to tears over Peter’s art
and stories – the emotionality of his art and words inspire
people to follow their dreams – giving them the courage to
make their mark or encourage others who need help along the journey,”
Paul Reynolds, president of The Peter H. Reynolds Line, observes.
Reynolds adds, “Our hope is to build one of the premiere global
art licensing brands in the industry – and create a partnership
ecosystem that gives all involved powerful incentives to help us
extend Peter’s reach and impact in the most creative ways.”
Debuting Peter H. Reynolds’ “Make Your Mark!”
and “Time to Dream” lines, The Peter H. Reynolds Line
will exhibit at the 2008 SURTEX show (booth 409) in New York City
on May 18-20. The “Make Your Mark!” theme is based on
Peter H. Reynolds’ best-selling book series The Dot and Ish
(Candlewick Press), which have been published in over twenty languages
around the world – including a 200,000 book purchase by the
government of Mexico for every single classroom in the country.
The “Time to Dream” line extends the messages highlighted
in Peter’s storybook The North Star, which is set for a major
international push with the publishing of book’s tenth anniversary
edition by Candlewick Press and Walker Books.
